Our History

We're proud of who we are, and where we have come from. From one truck in 1984, we have been so fortunate to work with amazing team members and customers throughout our journey.

1984

Robert started as an owner driver with one truck trading as RJ Pascoe Carriers Ltd, under his fathers Licence. Completing his first job on the 22nd August for Cemac Interiors totalling $48.10. Later that year RP began working with Hawkins construction, a customer we are still working with today

1987

We had changed to Robert Pascoe Carriers Ltd and we signed our first full time customer contract with Nylex NZ Limited. With brands we all know and love such as Nylex, Camlon, Gardena, Esky and more. This was a relationship that would last for 21 years, until the brands unfortunately left New Zealand

1989

Robert Pascoe Carriers was now a fleet of 3 trucks with Robert dispatching from the driver’s seat. We were parking our trucks at a good friend's vineyard, Soljans Wines. The business would continue to grow, being awarded Smiths Horticulture Auckland metro deliveries around all garden centres and to the rail head for goods leaving Auckland. RP Purchased his first Hiab truck with a Palfinger PK7000

1990

Robert Pascoe Carriers moved into their first depot with a small warehouse, 26 Greenpark Road, Penrose. Nylex forced us into storing products for them that we would then distribute to their manufacturers. Without that subtle push into warehousing, who knows where we would be now

1993

RP still driving, we won the Castrol New Zealand pump over and delivery contract from Whangarei to Huntly. We were very proud to be representing such a well known global brand. Another relationship that would last for many years until the decision moved outside of New Zealand

1995

Through acquisitions and changes, Smiths Horticulture would move on, and we began working for Living Earth New Zealand. A great customer that we are still proud to deliver for today. 95 also saw us being awarded the contract for Dunlop Foam, and had 5 trucks working for Dunlop, with the fleet now at 10

1996

As the warehousing and storage side of the business grew, we found ourselves warehousing for Castrol and Nylex. As we were growing out of our current site, RP made the decision to look for the next step. Thanks to Pacifica Shipping, we acquired our current site in Mangere Bridge as they made vendors finance available and assisted us into the property

1997

Easter 1997, with all funding sources maxed, we started developing the new site in Mangere Bridge, which would turn into a full 3PL and transport depot to support the future of our business

1999/2000

The first phase of the new site was now completed. We began working in 3PL Logistics and Warehousing, servicing customers such as Nylex, Castrol, Smith & Nephew, Hylton Parker Fasteners and Jacobsen Floorings

2002

Phase 2 of the site development was completed, giving us additional warehousing and 3PL capacity

2003

Developing our services, we build a purpose build tip truck, allowing us to tip bulk product throughout Auckland

2006

The final phase of our site was completed, finishing our warehouse space, adding a workshop and wash bay to the site

2013

Robert Pascoe Carriers was rebranded to RPC Logistics in order to give better representation to the full service logistics we were capable of and providing our customers. RPC Logistics was accredited for food safety and dairy products, industries we continue to focused on

2016

The services of RPC Logistics became full circle, offering Auckland and National Transport, 3PL Warehousing and Logistics, Container cartage and cross dock services as well as value added services, giving customers a true partner in the Auckland Region

Present

RPC Logistics is offering Nationwide services, assisting customers with a wide range of solutions from point to point pallet deliveries, to price labelling and repacking services. We see ourselves as an extension of our customers, and work to provide best in market service
